Still crying about it .  Rana got 0.5 degrees of swing compared to the 1.7 degrees that Arshdeep has got so far.

Swing is so overrated and our folks keep banging on about it.  Even Jimmy Anderson's stats improved over the last decade when he became a seam/wobble seam bowler instead of a swinger.

Most Indian ex-cricketers understand only length and swinggg. That's all they talk about.

Whereas cricket has been dominated by good lines, pace, bounce, seam movement and zip off the deck.

This commentator was criticizing Harshit strongly after a 2 wickets for 0 runs spell, for his lesser swing ... not understanding that he is a bouncy seam bowler.

Only Rana looks international quality then .

Harshit and Khaleel are the only 2 pacers who have combined pace, bounce and movement.

Harshit has been accurate in addition and have been the only 140 k+ pacer too.

Akashdeep has pace ,but his non bowling arm doesn't fall the way it should

His pace will further deteriorate

Thats why u have morne morkal as bowling coach

Khaleel has looked one with most zip bowling almost touching 140 in his third spell too.  Akash deep also has been impressive seems to bowl consistently around 135 with high accuracy. He looks test match ready

Would like to see more of Rana who looks impressive too.

If they want a left armer desperately Khaleel is only decent option as he has raw ingredients at least.

Harshit Akashdeep Khaleel along with Siraj should be in the test squad among newbies.

No need for left armers in Tests. Unlike white ball cricket , there's no advantage to being a left armer in Tests .

Just need to pick your most accurate bowlers who can sustain 85 mph +.

I am also from same pov but even if TM is hell bent on picking one pick the guy who can at least bowl quick & generate bounce & not look floaty

Akashdeep has lost a lot of pace,i dont think he clocked 140 once,he generally bowled very good line and length at 130-135k.

Plus he is not that tall to generate bounce.

He just came out of dengue and was practicing to sustsin speeds..per his recent interview..

Dengue sucks you from within..I am hoping Umran isnt affected by Dengue too

Akash deep-Do not think some1 can lose that amount of pace in such a quick time unless due to some injury.

Are all 3 Siraj, Akash deep and Umran recovering from Dengue??
