think they will be good in odis with wood and archer

Not sure. Wood hasn't been good for over 4 years and hasn't even played the format since the World Cup.

Archer made his comeback last year but has averaged 50 + since.

England have been very poor in ODIs for quite some time now

Eng. has 4/5 fast bowlers in this team all capable of bowling 140+ kmph , they can include sakib in playing 11 but he has not played too many odis against any noteworthy side. his best came against pak.

Wood may not play all 3 matches bt they will try to see if genuine pace can get eng some wkts or not.

Seems like bhumrah is injured and getting consultation from dr. in nz.

Posted this when bgt was on that the way Ind is relying on bhumrah for all 5 tests can cause him injury.

This is his 3rd injury in short time, v.poor planning and mismanagement may cost Ind a top level bowler. these guys will never understand fast bowling and will cost ppl their careers.

No problem. We have Arshdeep and Shami to lead the ODI attack!

ind fast bowling stocks are getting to same point where ind only had kapil or when sometimes they were thinking of opening the bowling with sachin

already played a t20i series with just 1 specialist bowler.

Shami and arsh were hardly bowling 135+kmph in t20is nt sure if they will be able to reach 135 kmph in odis consistently

"You know a bowler of his calibre, to be able to play consistently for the long term, that's where I'm trying to put in all my efforts and energy,"

Well at least someone has got the sense to know where the focus should be.

Do not have high hope on zaheer, did nothing with MI, made statements like bowlers from Ind are not meant to bowl fast or something on similar lines, was out of shape most of his career, pulled out after bowling 4 balls into a test match, dropped his pace as soon as he thought his place in the team is cemented.

if Ind would have not won that wc and he was not that instrumental in the win, no1 would have been talking of him with such regards.

I don’t like him as a coach. Especially after the comments he had about fast bowlers coming from the country.

All I’m saying is at least he talking or putting attention on something useful. That will help at least indirectly. Bowlers like Umran are almost forgotten right now in the circles that matter.

He is talking only coz he has a mentorship contract with LSG now.

Else, many of our ex cricketers don't have any interest left with the game.

I don’t care of his intentions. I’m more concerned of the effect direct or indirect (if any). Not much but at least something
