Overton and carse have adopted to Ind conditions better. Edited February 9 by tapandrun

Atkinson has slowed down a lot in tests too. Was averaging early 130s in tests in Pakistan and not crossing 140 k. Carse is slowing down too. Its not been 2 years since he made his debut and already down on pace, atkinson started touching high 140s kmph in the hundred and then dropped to 140-145 kmph in t20is and then now to 130s kmph For carse think he is trying to change pace in Ind conditions, he won eng a test match in pak bowling 140+ kmph on a low slow wkt on a hot day. In recent t20is too he touched 145 kmph few times Lone Wolf 1

Bowled in 140's in Pakistan and NZ. Even in India so far he is bowling 138-144ks range. express bowling and tapandrun 2

You can't maintain pace when you are flogged in 3 formats.

Specially the fast bowlers. If you burn a candle from both sides it will finish sooner. More so for a country like India where NCA experts are clueless about even a minor injury.

Hazlewood's injuries started multiplying the very year he started taking on a heavier T20 workload. Saffer bowlers are breaking down faster than ever. Atkinson and Carse are clocking lower speeds after multi format workloads etc. Lord and singhvivek141 2

Adamant Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Mark Wood is a mediocre bowler, a true pace bowling fan will never enjoy watching him bowl. Anyone who thinks that Wood is a good bowler doesn't understand fast bowling and just likes to look at the speedometer. Mark Wood is basically a bowling machine which will hurl the ball at you at 150, gun barrel straight. There is no art in his bowling, no finesse and no junoon and unlike the bowling machine this guy can't even maintain a consistent line. Its very easy to recognise if a person understands fast bowling or not, ask his opinion about Wood and if he praises him then be sure that this guy knows nothing. A thoroughly mediocre, run of the mill, wayward bowler. I change the channel when he bowls, his bowling is that ugly. As expected though, the fans on ICT (who are pace starved) will orgasm at every 150 kph ball he throws. ind_hyd1 1

He isn't in the league of Brett Lee and Shoaib Akhtar as a wicket taker.
