Nikhil_cric Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Harshit Rana needs strength work for his core and glutes He doesn't have an efficient running technique with feet crossing over in his run up. It's an injury risk and doesn't allow him to be consistent.

Bowled 145.2 kph 141.x kph 140.7 kph 138.x kph as his fastest balls today But almost all other deliveries were at 128 kph to 137 kph. Absolute trash speeds from someone who can bowl 140 to 147 k. singhvivek141 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 To be honest....India's bowling choices are becoming pretty boring day by day. It kills any interest left whatsoever. Harshit has issues with his fitness...he is a wkt taker but in death overs he becomes a "Thakela" and delivers platters to batsman in form of his slower deliveries. Good part he has improved his yorker bowling ability, but he really need to up his intensity. Arshdeep, well, he is limited with his lack of pace. He reads the batters well but he is nowhere near Bumrah or Shami. Siraj is well, seems he is on his peak and will decline now. How long he stays is anyone's guess. Kuldeep is either boom or bust, nothing in between and what the duck a 37 year old non spinning spinner is doing in the team is another mystery. express bowling, raki05, Mosher and 1 other 4

I’m sure his average (excluding slow balls) wasn’t more than 134k. That 145 (I dint see that) but looks more like some outlier / glitch. The way he bowled today, it wasn’t even fast medium in my book.

This isn’t some rocket science for him to require spoon feeding and hand holding. I’m sure he can see his own speeds. He can always workout, get fitter, lose weight and bowl quick. Even today, the balls that were somewhat decent in speeds were right after he hit smacked for a boundary.

Also I dont trust the speed reading of this Stalker sports radar anymore as it's settings can be tempered. Pocket Radar readings are trusted though it shows lower readings than match speed guns.
