Hope we play Saini today.

 

Not that he is a great T20 bowler yet ... but the sameness and lack of pace in our seam bowling attack needs to be addressed.

 

Cricbuzz article is suggesting that we will play the same eleven.    : (

This is what happens when we start playing bowlers for their batting like Shardul disregarding bowling prospects.

3 specialist pace bowlers can be played in LOIs.

 

Even if 1 is a bowling all-rounder, the other 2 can be genuine quick bowlers.

Mavi bounces out a rampaging Shaw

 

That bouncer was quick and  well directed

Mavi follows it with a zippy ball that seams away and beats batter.

Thakur in current form is anyday better than Bhuvi, who is still not fully fit but the TM keeps rushing him back from injury. Thakur should be the swing bowler if we have to play one. Will go for runs but also pick wickets.

Mavi bowled well around the time he got Shaw out. 

 

But his last 3 overs were unimpressive.

 

Needs to improve his accuracy. Was bowling atleast 1 hittable ball every over.

Interesting to see that neither Archer nor Wood can continuously bowl high pace without needing break in between. Unlike ,say, the Starc/Cummins duo.

Cummins doesn't bowl at the pace of Starc or Wood.

We should definitely give saini a go in atleast 1-2 games.

Need to have backup ready incase of an injury to 1 st string bowlers.

hardik has not prepared well for bowling. he seems like bowling between 127 to 137K and his line n length is also varying , may be bcos he is bowling in a T20.

 

But he does not look good as a pace bowler....not impressive.

He matches Archer in pace though and is very consistent and he rarely goes flat out for pace alone.

chahal is not someone we can depend on.Simple,need to try out some more options.

But this is the last series before the t20 wc ,so ee might just be efed

This is the 2nd competitive match he is bowling in since his injury. His genius TM kept him away from both domestic tournaments SMAT and VHT  where he could have eased himself back gradually

Excellent death bowling today by indian bowlers.

Shardul used his slower one's very well. He seems to have gained in a lot of confidence.

 

it seems He and Bhuvi may play with boomrah in T 20 world cup.Nattu could be the back up. I dont think they will play SHammi in T20. Deepak chahar could also be the back up.

 

what I am reading is that shardul, BHuvi may partner Bumrah and the fourth pacer could be hardik. Chahal or washington could be the only Spinner. t20 world cup 2021 will be in india in OCtober 21.

 

i see Nattu ,Deepak chahar and Jaddu as other players. Jaddu may play ahead of shardul.

why did they drop Mark woods today?

 

He was the game changer in previous Match

Archer's quicker spells are much quicker than Cummins'.
