once he lands with his backfoot he doesnt twist his lower half anymore ,the critical part is not to twist after landing ,thats what he's trying to avoid with his arm.you can twist in the air and land misaligned, it's not ideal but not as bad.

It's opposite, in fact, he wasn't rotating his lower half before, but now he does. He is also getting of his backfoot quickly, so he is able to rotate his lower half better. The most important part is lower half. Upper rotates naturally but it's really important to rotate lower body.

Prasidh Krishna, the Karnataka pacer, is likely to get his maiden call-up to the Indian ODI team for the upcoming series against England, following his 14-wicket return in the recently-concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy.

One of the most prolific pacers in the Indian domestic circuit for the last few years, Krishna will pair up with the likes of Mohammed Siraj, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur in the pace department. Jasprit Bumrah, who announced his marriage on Monday, is likely to miss out after being an extended leave.

Hope this turns out to be true.

Would love it if it happens bro !

Tired of seeing 5'9" seamers bowling 132 kph faster balls and a high % of slower balls.

IMHO Tyagi and Prasidh have the highest ceiling among the uncapped pacers in India.

you are talking about release twist,i am talking about loading.

On loading, lower body should remain straight, leading feet, right leg to be pointing straight. Upper body should have some rotation. This position is called false rotation. This position is important to have hip shoulder separation.

Like this pic of Brett Lee. Upper and lower body in opposite direction.

Avesh is much fitter now and bowling quick. Check his bowling in VHT 2021 in Hotstar full match replays.

Bro I wanted to watch hotstar. Was willing to pay but seems only people in India can watch it?

Is there any way people from outside India can watch games on hotstar?

It is disappointing that Kuldeep Sen has been ignored by the IPL scouts again.

How is such a fast bowler being missed by all and sundry !!

Can think of a bunch of reasons.

Politics

Marketability. Player must be popular etc.

Does the player have support from management? Rich parents?

Demand and supply.

Does he have some exciting characteristic that can be appealing to the crowd?

Then finally the management will look at performance.

We should all know this by now.

Don't go by heights on Google

Bumrah is around 6'0" and Shami is 5'9".

Have seen bumrah in person. And Shami. Can assure you Shami is 5'8. Bumrah is close to 180.

I agree booms is defo 180.

Shami is shorter than Virat who is barely 5'8.5

one indian pacer indian selectors chetan sharma and team have to look into is Prasidh.

a genuine fast bowler of ISHANT's height is a must to be groomed. i am not saying play him in the 11 but he should be in the 15 or 19 and some times get a game.

i have faced 6 3" tall pacers and we batsman find it genuinely tough to control bouncers coming from close to good length ...short ball bouncers are easy to score off and hit as we get a lot of time to see those balls.

Ishant has slowed down , i was watching his pace in tests and i think he did not touch 140K even once in ahmedabad and even in chennai where as he was consistently between 135 to 147k in INDIA. Point i want to make is that he is slowing down and i see him playing for next 6 months to 12 months only. we need a 6 4" or 6 5" genuine fast bowler to take over from him - please not we do not need another venky type tall trundler in action. i think PRasidh fits the bill.
