express bowling 41,709
If they play 4 pacers then Tyagi should be there. 3 medium pacers + 1 fast bowler does not make sense in Australia ( in fact in most places barring England ) And if Ashwin does not play then choosing 5 bowlers will make the batting very very weak. Thakur has a decent bouncer too, and can bowl 135 k+. Natarajan does not tick any of these boxes. Mosher and themask 2 Link to post

And n.z. n.z is a heaven for slow mediocre one dimensional swing fodders. Jamieson is a trundlers with bounce who excels there. Same as Wagner. Link to post
Soldier 171
Why not Tyagi? * sake. Tyagi Siraj Saini and Thakur is better than nattu. Nattu lacks experience. themask, Rightarmfast and express bowling 3 Link to post

Suhaan 10,248
Tyagi or no Tyagi, they are going to play 4 bowlers most probably Brisbane being Australia's favourite venue may push India to play 7 batsmen and 4 bowlers Tyagi may have been a good and innovative selection here as i think he might have not bowled that much given the weather forcast, but Natrajan seems ahead in pecking order currently RAZPOR 1 Link to post
Rightarmfast 6,473
They havent disclosed the final 11. Could there be a twist in the tale and they want to keep Tyagi as a surprise weapon? Not likely, but would be a pleasant surprise. express bowling, Suhaan and RAZPOR 3 Link to post

I think the team management wishes to play jasprit bumrah and want to decide on the match day. Link to post
Rightarmfast 6,473
Expected team. But that moment when your spinner is taller than all your fast bowlers :) Link to post
Rightarmfast 6,473
What a wicket by Siraj in the first over! Bowled on a widish off line, ball came slightly in and caught at 1st slip! Siraj bowled around 132-134k's the whole over. express bowling and Mosher 1 1 Link to post
