Thank You to other 6 in Seven Ups Right from beginning of the tourney, we have been behind and chasing the leaders. First it was JL and then Corps. We always kept the chase alive and there was constant pressure on the leaders. After 1st innings of the final, we had a lead of 98 points but then it proved to be a bridge too far. Eventually Smith and Clarke won it for Aus and Corporation too. Top 2, 4 players in top 10 and 5 in top 12 are dream numbers for any team :hatsoff: Koksmayu: An experienced ICF SS, he bailed the team out with his performance on some tough days. Bank on him to save the team when others are having a bad day. Pagalpanti: Set the early momentum for team by leading the charts in the initial games. Topped the Knockout phase which helped great deal in our push for victory during final stages. Ragavender: A daring SS who was never afraid to take risks with unique choices. As the top 10 finish indicates, he came out on top with his unique choices most of the times and provided the team something different to think for each match. Robin: Best newcomer of the tourney was a surprise package. He brought refreshing ideas to the table and could always be trusted upon to deliver. Surely an SS to watch out for in the future. Strike: A very dedicated and passionate SS. He also wouldn't mind getting up at 3 or 6, to get a toss advantage. He had a good grip on saving subs which gave us a crucial sub advantage throughout the tourney. Straight Drive: All know about his SS skills and his top 10 finish despite an indifferent start (26th position) was too good. But more importantly he was a great team man who kept motivating that we could win it. Even risked his own top 3 finish in a bid to make the Seven Ups win. It was great to play with you guys as a team and discuss SS strategies. It truly was an unforgettable tournament with such a close result. Retention rules unfortunately mean we wouldn't be able to retain everybody but will still try to keep the spirit of Seven-Ups through retention.
