Wimbledon 2015

Nadal has won slams in 10 consecutive years. That was bound to come to a stop at some point. But it is not ust about winning them. He is playing horrible tennis and choking badly on big points. The question is --can he make a comeback from this slump or is it the permanent ending of his career?
and Bolt will lose to drug cheat Gatlin in world championship this year..:((

Of all the losses to lower ranked guys. That Rosol was still is the best. Nadal was playing really well that day as well, but the relentless power Rosol dished out was something else. It's sad to see Nadal in this state, but none of us can say we're surprised, his style of play has caught up with him. Same is going to happen to Novak in about 12 months, but to a lesser extent because his game is less intense and more efficient. Only thing I want now is Nadal to play Novak enough for Novak to correct the H2H.

With Rafa being ousted so early in every tournament, doubt that's gonna happen anytime soom :cantstop:

But to earn a match with Federer, he needs to put together a winning streak of 4-5 matches which is well beyond his capabilities as of now.

But to earn a match with Federer' date=' he needs to put together a winning streak of 4-5 matches which is well beyond his capabilities as of now.[/quote'] That won't help him. He is still playing good matches occasionally but he follows it up with crap ones and I am not sure if he can even beat Federer. His main weapon against Federer is his FH and at the moment it is nowhere to be found. He should try to repeat what he did in 2013. In 2013, he came back playing small clay 250s in South America. The competition was thin, there was no pressure on him to defend any points and it was all about finding his game. He lost to Zebballos of all people in the first one but then won the next 2-3 of those small tournaments. This time he returned on hard courts. He looked short of match practice in Doha and in Australia and in the early part of the season in general. He started losing matches that he would otherwise win. That started this whole mental issue of lack of confidence and it remained throughout the clay season where he was under tremendous pressure to win to retain his rank. He has nothing to defend in the rest of the year and he should now play Hamburg, Gastaad etc. Those are on clay and the top players or even the media usually skip them. He would be under no pressure to perform there and that would be the perfect opportunity to build up some confidence before the US open series. Contrary what many are saying, I actually think physically he is looking fine but he has lost his mojo. In tennis, there are many good players in the top 30-40. What separates most of them from the top 5 is how well they play the big points. Stan is a perfect example of what self confidence can do to someone.

Registering my entry afte watching the Brown Nadal game. Post match he summed up very well. Have to say, consistently hitting serves at 124mph. Guy has potential. German Engineering at Work
Brown actually grew up in Jamaica and only recently moved to Germany and got citizenship there because his father is German.

You cant miss Jamaican in him. Bob Marley hair style , Rastrfari Good luck beaded necklace and then asking for same ball each time he served well. :cantstop: Germans will provide him what he needs after this win. No more lastminute.com stickers on his t shirt

He has no great future in tennis. He is already 30 and he is not going to go up. He played well yesterday but any top player would have beaten him. It was by no means a clinical performance. He gave too many chances to Nadal. He is going to get beaten by Troicki in the next round.

Rafa is lucky that his Ranking won't hit that bad since he is not really defending much in Wimbledon now. But couple of more bad tournaments and he will find facing Djokers and Murray in round 3 of US Open.
If he stays in the 9-12 bracket he will not face the top 4 before QF. He will have to be 24-32 to face them in R3 and 13-16 to face them in R4. He should stay in the 9-12 as he is not defending anything until the US open.

So after 2/3 rounds RoF' date='Djoko,Stan wawrinka or Murray?[/quote'] All playing well, very well. But can't see Federer winning two 5 setters back to back against Novak/Stan and Murray. Federer has had a piss easy draw and will continue to be one until the QF where I think Berdych may upset him. As for the others, we simply don't know until they meet, all are playing very well. But with the British crowd (very unsporting) behind him that might raise his level at critical times. Bookies still have Novak as favourite.

Stan in serious form:fear:
The top 4 are all in serious form, his opponents have been pretty weak, same for Novak and Fed. Andy probably was pushed the most by Kukushkin but he coasted past Haase.
