jusarrived
I told you guys Sindhu was more likely to win a medal than Saina . Shes a two time WC bronze medal winner , which is the only tournament at par with Olympics . At her best shes better than Saina , so she does not particularly struggle against chinese . PBN
Kidambi took it to the 3rd game and fought well but eventually Lin D won the 3rd one 21-18. Well done
maniac
Fantastic effort by Srikanth but yet again another story of Indian athlete this olympics putting on a brave fight and missing a medal Stuge, Lannister and PBN
PBN
Best chance is Sindhu for a medal. She'll be facing the japanese Okuhara in the semis. She's gotta win this the semis and has a great chance as well. The other semi is Li Xuerui vs Carolina Marin.
Lannister
This is a must win game for Sindhu as I don't see her beating Lee/Marin in a Bronze medal match. But her opponent Nozomi has been in a brilliant form ever since she won Superseries finale by swatting away Marin in the finals. All three Nozomi/Marin/Lee are the clear favorites to win the gold medal, the only thing going for Sindhu is her unpredictability. She's inconsistent but tends to play her best in bigger tournaments . Doubles , Ashwini screwd her career sticking to Jwala for so long . She should have moved on to a younger player by now . You called it man...good stuff
