Is VVS LAXMAN's ODI career over, the talent that he has was amazing but he just coudnt make consistent runs. He needs to play in English county season. It will make him a better player.

Re: End of the road for VVS Laxman in ODI of course he can, i still think its not out of the ordinary for the next world cup he will be only 35, look at ganguly hes nearing 35 and hes an imporved runner between the wickets, it all depends on the person. Its good too see Laxman leading the South Zone in the Deodar Trophy, and participating in one day events along with the Kaif. Laxman should really work hard while India are in the West Indies. The next series is in Bangladesh so hopefully he can have some big emphatic knocks, the only for him to get back into the ODI scheme of things is too play those free flowing centuries he once scored in test cricket , and not those workman like 50's or hundreds. Whats done is done. The WC squad is announced and he really cant do anything about it, so its important he works on his weaknesses such as fitness, working on his knee troubles, and working on the incoming delivery which usually routs his stumps, but dont be surprised too see Laxman come back into the ODI scheme of things, after all too much faith was put into Sehwag.

Re: End of the road for VVS Laxman in ODI yea, parth its a surprise too see that Laxman never played county cricket, hes for sure conquered Australian pitches. But yet to conquer English pitches i feel like while India are in the West Indies he takes up a temporary contract with English County Cricket seeing that Laxman has been bowling 8-10 overs in limited matches recently he certainly will be handy, and maybe through that his fitness will improve. India also has an upcoming tour in England and it wouldnt be a bad idea for Laxman
