novpj
While the BCCI took a step in the right direction by appointing Robin Singh as the fielding coach but his appointment is only for the BD tour. Do you think he will make any difference in this short time period? Plus Do you think we will see a marked improvement in fielding till the fitness improves? For eg., Munaf cant even bend down to pick up the ball cleanly. I understand that we might have a long term fielding coach later and Robin can lay the ground work for him but unlike batting and bowling where a few tips on technique and game planning can help, I dont see how Robin can have a big impact. Seems like some of the BCCI moves are mere PR actions. Link to comment
yoda
Re: Fielding coach BD tour announcements will prolly continue beyond. May there is some internal procedural reason why some of these announcements have to be for the short term, for now. Link to comment
