Now again scored in the final against Zaheer, Agarkar and Powar. Was the lone fighter in 1st innings and in 2nd innings with dada gave mumbai more then jus jitters with his plucky audacious 94. Seems to have all the shots in the book, the drive , the backfoot drive, the pull and the hook, the square cut. Has a nice sound defensive technique as well. Ready to rumble with the big boys or shud be given another season? On a side note, the backfoot straightpull he played to a 140kph agarkar delivery in the 1st innings was a stunning stunnign shot.

Showed his mettle against high qulaity swing and seam 140+kph under high pressure... 2. didnt back away and counter-attacked magnificently.... 3. Trmendous power in his shot.... 4. Decisive foot-work.... and can play of both front and backfoot equally well.... 5. Easily pulled and hooked 140+ kph bouncers.... 6. Left the balls outside off-stump with ease and consistently even wen he was past his 50.... he is definitely the future of india....
