Bowling looks settled for Chennai, Morkel, Oram, Joggi and Murali. Batting lineup is Hayden, Fleming, Dhoni Oram. We should go for Indian player as we can only play 4 Int'l in a 11. Morkel is a pretty good T20 bowler, his econ rate is 6 in T20 and 5.2 in ODIs, very good in fact, and he also averages 28 in T20 @ 133 SR. We have Oram, and Murali to backup Morkel too. Chennai will have very aggressive batters and will bat deep. Hayden, Fleming, Dhoni and Oram in MO, with Morkel at 7 or 8 should be pretty good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chennai and Mohali just spent too loosely. Even Kolkatta has some money left. Delhi probably got too many bits and pieces players (and most of them overseas players which is not good because only 4 can play). Bangalore spent money on test players. Moreover you won't be able to play all of your overseas players at the same time. You have a competitive side because of Oram, Murali, Hayden and Dhoni.
