Chandan
Vijay out on 93 :(( Kulkarni 8 no-balls :(( M. Vijay made 93 for the Central Stags, while Dhawal Kulkarni claimed three wickets for the Wellington Firebirds, including Central's star play Sinclair's wicket in the State Championship match at Napier. But he bowled 11 no-balls and that is bad. Responding to Wellington’s 410, the Central Stags could manage only 296. Vijay, who opened the Stags innings, top-scored, his effort spanning 283 minutes and lasting 194 balls. He hit 13 fours and a six. Kulkarni, who shared the new ball with James Franklin (who was called up to the New Zealand Test squad), returned figures of 19-2-62-3, including the wicket of Stags captain Mathew Sinclair (62). Wellington made 210 for three thanks to Franklin’s unbeaten 107 in the second innings by close on the third and penultimate day. Link to comment
Chandan
So this match ends with Vijay getting dismissed for just 3 and Kulkarni unable to get the sole to wicket to fall in the 4th inning. It was a good hit for both these players, nevertheless. Hope they'll rise to the occasion if required! Link to comment
Shane
Good sighter for the two, would be difficult for them to get a hit in the Test Series, unless someone is injured !!! Link to comment
