i m not a fan of afridi... and not a fan of that innings either... most of his runs were against the hapless jayasuriya who lost his radar completely and was tossing slow full tosses or was very wayward... as was dharmasena. if anything, i would rate afridi's knock against new zealand and sri lanka in the opening two games of the 1997 independence cup (two 50s back to back) as the best displays of batting from him.
