It was alleged there was a particular drive on to convert Sikh girls, but I'll be honest, I have no idea how much truth there was in this. heard about that stuff some time back... sort of like a religious genocide without the bloodshed or culpability of crime. religion can be so shyte at times... THX_1138 Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 I don't think this story would have been featured on BBC or the existence of this thread for that matter if the Sikh girl converted to Hinduism or Christianity you dont really convert to hinduism... nor do you actually leave it. there is no tennant of conversion in the scripture hence, the whole conversion to hinduism is quite futile. you might disassociate with your previous faith and associate with hindus, but thats about it.
