Captain of Bhangra Posted July 18, 2011 Author Share Posted July 18, 2011 Winning the World Cup in Pakistan would be hilariously awesome, but again, the feeling of joy wouldn't match what we've been through, even if it was Pakistan themselves in the final... The only thing that would have improved the recent World Cup for me, would've been if we'd destroyed England in the final. I had visions of that happening for months leading up to the tournament, I had already agreed the venue where we were going to watch India in the final against England. I've never been confident of India winning the World cup before this tournament... India winning the football World cup would top this, BUT, I said in the OP that we as Indian CRICKET fans, wouldn't top this feeling, so it doesn't count... Link to comment
