Hiro Nakamura
We all talk about domestic players getting exposure, sharing dressing room with International superstars. We observed it has helped our players tremendously in pressure situations when they debut for national side. In General BCCI's rise has increased standards of ground outfields, player facilities, HD channel and many other such things. But we often ignored one crucial aspect of Cricket, Umpiring. Do you think IPL/CLT20 is helping Indian Umpires? They get opportunity to stand with some of world's renowned umpires, they must be monitoring their technique/method and getting valuable tips. Do you think likes of Vineet Kulkarni, Sudhir Asnani and Shamshuddin have upped their standards? Link to comment
Scarves
I think it is but I think having one home umpire in any match could benefit Indian umpires however the problem of that is that there is a chance of the tempting of match-fixing that is mainly in that area. But imo I think each game needs a home umpire. Link to comment
