The 2001 series and 2003 against Aus was when she treated me like bhagwan, and put out on a regular basis . It was punch-drunk love :hic: I just haven't gotten any in a while, figuratively speaking. yoda
Re: Not bad for convicts, hey? poms are poised for an innings defeat. which one is worse? 91 run collapse in a ODI or an innings defeat in an ashes test? i would say the 91 run collapse is worse. but the other isn't far behind. remember, in the disastrous karachi test where we were whipped by 300+ runs, we had the paks reeling at what 35-6? and was that test hailed us as test cricket at it's best? no way. nothing to take away from your very well written post. this test is being played at the highest level, yes. but by just one team, atleast so far. vroomfondel
Re: Not bad for convicts, hey? Can we say that was Test Cricket at its best ? By all means, you can. And I would smack anyone who said, "oh fine and all, but it's nothing like the ashes" at that point. By test cricket at it's best, I am talking not specifically about the Ashes, but you know that. Good cricket is good cricket, and I'm dying to see some from hamaare khet ki moolis. Link to comment
