Re: Goodbye Kumble. Have you guys noticed? Kumble has trimmed down signigicantly and looks fitter than before. To be honest he is a better bowler than Powar and Powar will get a permanent place in Indian cricket only after Kumble retires. Kumble is going to WC and poor Powar might be the guy who misses out. Sure Kumble might have to play after Harbajan but who cares the guy deserves to be in the WC 15. This is my team for WC: Gangully and Uthappa as openers Tendulkar, Dravid, Yuvaraj, Schewag, Dhoni, Pathan (middle) Agarkar, Harbajan, Zaheer Khan (Tail enders) Reserve/Bench: Kumble, Raina, Karthik, Sreesanth or Munaf.

Re: Goodbye Kumble. Bhajji is the first-choice ODI spinner while Kumble should be the second. I have no idea what India see in Powar. He will get whacked anywhere outside India. Kumble should get picked for the WC. The last ODI was a slight blip. It was a very very good track for batting, and he was up against Lara. I think India should take Kumble for the WC.
