They earn profit out of television rights, tickets, promotion, popularity etc. KKR even with their dismal performance in first few years, was the team with most profit due to the popularity of the team and Shah Rukh Khan. So how much monetary gain depends on teams performance? Does a team winning the IPL title have a direct impact on owners profit? If yes, how.
