5th Bowler Dilemma

So who else has been absolutely blown over by Tendulkar's bowling reccently? He's really been consistent, keeping teh economy rate low and picking up useful wickets. The funny thing is if you've seen him bowl, he can spin the ball more than our specialist spinners, a heck load more than Kumble (not that he's better htan kumble -- but just amount of spin wise) Do you guys think that his bowling offers us the ability to play 7 batsmen and 4 bowlers? Also do you thing he should be bowling as much as he is considering is fragile fitness and propensity to develop serious injuries? What about ganguly, he's been pretty effective in Ranji games but will he not be effective in ODIs he really hasn't been given too many opportunties to find some rhythm in ODIs... Sehwag was pretty useful, but is his spot guaranteed? Then there is always Pathan, if he can learn how to bowl again and i'm not quite sure how you "forget" how to bowl...he'll really solve so many problems!!!

Re: 5th Bowler Dilemma 7 batsmen is a must. WI conditions will suit our part time spinners. Fifth bowler will be a combo of Tendu, Sehwag, Yuvi & if necessary Ganguly. I think among these four, we will have a min of 10 & a max of 15 overs per game. An E/R of 5.0 & a wicket from the 5th bowling option, would be a reasonable expectation Pathan if played must bowl ten overs & play as a strike bowler. I dont want him as a no. 3 batter who bowls 5 overs leaking 40 runs. That will almost guarantee a 300+ score for the opponent.
