true, their batting has been fine despite missing symonds, ponting and gilly against NZ. but their bowling has been found wanting. also, didn't their batting choke big time against the pommies?

Re: is this australia downfall began? yup they are declining in bowling department for sure.. just saw some of the highlights.. grounds are joke in NZ, tait is fast but no control on line, johnson is alright.. mcgrath is aging.. IMO, bracken will be the only threat in bowling if lee doesnt play.. they are missing symonds and clarke both as batsmen and part time bowlers.. their batting department is still solid though..
