comm_box
I place the blame of India's recent loss on the grassy Ahmedabad pitch. It's a foolish decision to make a grassy pitch in Indian conditions. Our batsman do not play on grassy pitches during domestic tournaments then why are grassy pitches being made during the international matches. Why are we playing according to the strenghts of the visiting teams? Didn't we learn any lesson when we lost the Nagpur test match to Australia in 2004 which was played on the grassy pitch too. When the Indian team lost home test matches to England and Pakistan then surely the Indian Team played badly. But really not this time. The Indian team definetely would have had a psychological blow when they saw the pitch. And the blame does go to the people who made this South African Type pitch. What next. May be a Durban type fast bouncing pitch for the next test match. After all it is the custom of India to please its guests! Link to comment
