Guest dada_rocks Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 God has not evolved yet it still is in chimpanzee stage.. take it from philospher Anil Kumar.. an all powerful guy watching all this nonsensical bloodbath has to be moron or devil.. Since I fail to reconcile with the fact that anyone could be this devilish hence the only option is of moron.. So listen you all; you have been fighting over a moron...

Since I fail to reconcile anyone could be this devilish hence the only option is moron.. So listen you all you have been fighting over a moron... impressive! though i ll take it a step further: the so called moron is nonexistent. all those 72 virgins guy commit suicide over, well they are non existent too.
THX_1138 Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I know evolution is real.I dont know if God is real but I choose to believe in a higher power because there is more to the universe than this insignificant earth.what is the purpose of the universe?.why was there a big bang?what was there before the big bang?.are there more than one universe?.nobody can disprove to me that god doesnt exist. you have asked a question that has been answered to a considerable extent: "the more i understand the universe, the more pointless it seems" - Steven Weinberg (a nobel laureate in the field of physics, currently a professor at university of texas, austin) this statement came in for considerable criticism by the scientific community. not because of in the inaccuracy of the statement that the universe is pointless, but because he began with a premise that there might indeed be a purpose to this universe. we are on a runaway train that is headed for absolute entropy... given enough time, everything will cool down to absolute zero. most of the fuel in the galaxy will be spent, and if there is intelligent life elsewhere in this universe, it has another a couple of billion years at most. as for why the big bang occured, its not easy to explain if you dont know what is symmetry breaking. and yes, there are multiple universes. and as for nobody can prove to you that god does not exist, then consider this: there is a questions that cannot be answered, but does that imply that it is within the bounds of healthy skepticism to remain ambivalent about them? for instance, can we verify that there is a ceramic tea pot circling the star: alpha centuri? the obvious answer to this question is, well given the limitations of science and astronomy, we cannot answer the question with absolute certainty. however, does that suggest that we must be ambivalent about the answer? or can we conclude that the answer is no simply because there does not appear to be a precursor suggesting that such a possibility exists.
Guest dada_rocks Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I belive there is someone but his report card is abysmal .. Certainly not worthy of all that reverence he gets.. We should have 24/7 channel dedicated to critising abusing ridiculing this character God..
