He has the ability to make the ball talk a bit, and may have induced a couple of mistakes. Kumble should have let him bowl a few, at least toward the end of the day. I don't see any downside to this tactic.

Who knows? You may be right. But, as much as the fellow (VS) seems to enjoy bowling in ODIs, I would doubt it.

Why wouldn't he want to bowl ???? He's a decent spinner , I'm sure its AK who's stopping him from bowling.
