The defending champions have not conceded a goal in 14 league matches and, with Van der Sar unbeaten since Nov. 8, the Dutch veteran will beat a long-standing record if he can hold out until the 89th minute at Old Trafford. Van der Sar has played 1,302 minutes since Samir Nasri scored in Arsenal's 2-1 win over United, putting him second only to FC Brugges goalkeeper Dany Verlinden, who in 1990 went 1,390 without conceding. Such imperious form means that Van der Sar can afford to focus wholly on his own performance rather than concern himself with that of United's dwindling number of rivals for the title. It wud be difficult without Vidic missing out through suspension, hopefully Man Utd plays out a draw in San Siero and look for a win in the return leg.
