Bumper
Re: Has Sunny gone to far? Aussies are overreacting at the Hooksey remark. Gavaskar merely used him as an example. No need for any apologies. But he neednt have started this thingy unnecessarily at this time, when there is absolutely no context for these remarks. Gavaskar must remember that his career at ICC (he could do a lot of good things for India from high positions at the ICC), commentator, columnist are far more important. He would do well, to observe some diplomacy publicly & silently screw the convicts behind the scenes. Atleast thats what the Aussies do to the rest of us. Link to comment

Rajiv
Re: Has Sunny gone to far? R.I.P Hookes but whats wrong in citing his example Haven't you heard of examples like " hey, look what happened when he was riding that bike so fast, please take care " I mean, sunny is just trying to say that if other Aussies continue to have such an attitude they might face the same faith as his "dear" late friend Hookes See, it's all in the delivery, we make assumptions when we see these things in PRINT, perhaps it was a different mood when he was talking about all this Link to comment
kablooee87
Re: Has Sunny gone to far? I think the point he was trying to make was totally valid. Heck, even McGrath half admitted it. But there's no doubt that bringing Hooke's into it was over the line. Link to comment
