Kartikey
It was tough leaving Laxman out, really it was. I went for Azhar because I think he is better suited at 5 than Laxman. Link to comment

Seeing that Laxman no longer plays ODIs and was in and out of the ODI squad throughout his career you got to give him loads of credit to play so well and constantly under pressure. Link to comment

bharat297
sehwag gavaskar gambhir tendulkar dravid laxman dhoni(w) kapil dev kumble harbhajan srinath/zaheer Gambhir??? WAT ??? He has had a very good year, but he only recently returned to the test arena and had 1 good series against Lanka. Don't get me wrong, he very well could be one of our best ever, when its all said and done, but so far, based on what he has achieved in the test area ... He's not even in the same league as guys like Azhar, Ganguly, or Vishy. Same with Dhoni ... in ODIs he has been great ... but in tests ... He is not the same level as Kirmani Link to comment
