PCB allows Akhtar to play for Surrey

7 million rupees for 4 overs, works out to roughly, 1.75 million per over. Considering the possible post match hospitalization expenses, the bill runs north of 3 million rupees per over, easily. In this age of IPL, when teenagers are making a few $100Ks per annum, paying $3M to bowl an over, sounds like an awfully bad deal for Shoaib. If I were Akhtar, I'd seriously think about retiring.

Do you think Ashraf's resignation is good for Pak cricket or it doesn't matter whoever is the board's head to the cricket health in the country?
