Re: Can Dravid really be blamed for batting first ? Puzzling decision to bat first in those conditions regardless of who we were playing... If we don't progress Dravid should be sacked as captain after the world cup, i just don't like his style of captaincy... who do we repalce him with though?

Kaif in a captaincy position isn't a bad idea. He led India in their successful u19 World Cup victory back in '00. Since taking over the reins at UP; he has led them to their first ever Ranji trophy win. He is a very animated character on the field and would be a darn sight more inspirational than the dullard India have in place now, Rahul Dravid. Of course; the issue with Kaif and Yuvraj captaining the side is whether they would be good enough play in the first place. Kaif was rightfully dropped and doesn't stand out as a batsman. Yuvraj is a permanent fixture in ODI's, but can India really compromise on the form of it's best ODI batsman ?

Heres what we do Make Yuvraj the captain, Kaif the VC and get rid of Ganguly, SRT, RD, Swhwag, pathan and Kumble. It will be painful but at least we will know what we are getting and may be the hype will be less :-)
