JASON Krejza will take the field for Australia seeking refuge from the story that broke overnight surrounding his positive test for cocaine in 2006, a result he said came via a spiked drink. But the off-spinner will also be looking for form and confidence following a first day battering by the Indian Board President's XI in Hyderabad. Krejza was belted to all parts of the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium by young batsmen Rohit Sharma (105) and Virat Kohli (105) as the President's XI raced to 6-371 at stumps. He left the field to be interviewed about the incident, which adds another offbeat chapter to a career full of misadventures. "It was terrifying," Krejza said after play. "It was a real shock when it all happened. My first reaction was to go through the correct channels (with Cricket NSW). "We are told of these processes all the time, so my immediate reaction was to speak to the appropriate people there. "You think about how (a potential positive test) might affect things, but that's just from the shock. "Basically, it was terrible." Following the incident, Krejza moved from NSW to Tasmania, where he was banned from pre-season training due to a drink-driving offence he said was a turning point in his career. Australia are relying heavily on Krejza to hold up as the touring party's lone fit spin bowler, with coach Tim Nielsen saying selectors had not considered using an all-pace attack in the Test series against India, which starts in Bangalore next week. When the President's XI are dismissed, captain Ricky Ponting and senior opener Matthew Hayden will both be looking for time in the middle to boost their confidence levels following injury-interrupted winters.
