http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/ausvnz2008/content/story/379390.html He gave all the blame to India for his slow over rate in India. Blamed our batters, sight screens, spectators and anything else he could think of. Hayden even blamed India for being a 3rd world country for the reason. Well now they are playing in oz he and his players have been fined 2nd test in a row for crappy over rates. Who does he blame now? India again? I tell you the reason you yob. YOU ARE STUPID! Thus it takes you twice as long to set your field compared to others as your brain works very slow!

SA series will really test Ponting's captaincy. would not be surprised if he gets banned for slow over rate. they can handle Krejza comfortably. so, Aussies have to reply on the likes of Lee, Johnson , clark more. they score faster these days and with couple of left hand -right hand combination, field will take time to change. SA series will be definite problem for ponting.

Don't worry...the observer will then rope in a consultancy firm with the best minds money can hire to determine exactly what is the problem with the slow over rates...after much brainstorming and advanced computer modelling of the problem...they should have this totally hidden and most complex problem sorted out...hopefully before the SA series is over...

What is Ponting doing? He has a former Australian captain (Ian Chappell) telling him what the problem is ... and because he is still annoyed at his comments he doesnt want to listen to him ... so the Aussies call in an observer. They have a coach, an assistant coach, a bowling coach, a whole bunch of trainers, statisticians, and various other members of staff. What do the Aussies think that this new observer is going to reveal?

The Aussie cricket team has caught third-world-itis. A severe condition generally contracted by first-worlders returning from extended failed tours of the third world. The sufferer's of this syndrome exhibit confusion, dream-like thinking and extreme philosophical ponderings on the meaning of life and the universe while attempting to conduct routine and everyday functions.
