Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 How do the organizers expect to attract more crowd on the grounds by having two exact same teams play three different formats in a space of 1-1.5 months time ? MCG hosted Boxing day test (makes sense, traditional 'event') but was there a need for them to host T20 and ODI ? The numbers dipped in descending order and sensibly so. Test attracted more people to the ground whereas T20's number reached around 60k mark and now ODI is struggling to reach 20k mark. Poor scheduling, IMO. Link to comment
