Important thing which often gets missed is -- Obama travelled to a prayer -- which news anchor called as "custom". I know USA is a secular country, but still they hold their Christian values and prayer etc. closer to them and every Prez abides by that. Obama is also suppose to take oath on a BIBLE. Contrast to this I remember self-loathing Kaangressi leadres -- P. Chidambaram actually refused to take oath on BhagwadGita instead asked for Indian constitution. Indians strangely feel proud and morally high after ridiculing and abondoning their own culture.

We know they are from rival parties. Now imagine if tommorrow government changes in India and elected BJP PM comes for oath, I bet half of self-loather disgraceful opposition will simply boycott innaguration just to prove that they are opposition.:--D

US is backward in religious superstitions etc. And Hinduism has various strands of atheistic belief so I dont know how anyone can offend the Hindu culture by refusing to use gita for the oath.

Of course there is nirgun brahma stream but even they do not go out of their way to denounce geeta..

If there are atheistic branches does not it follow that these branches reject anything to do with God, afterlife, reincarnation etc, and does not Gita echo these sentiments directly.

Dont know abt usa media but indian media is getting orgasmic over obama becoming president terming him as the messiah of the world and usa. what bullshit yaar ?... sad state of affairs our indian media is in especially television news channels they have made it a 24/7 affair even though anyone in india is remotely concerned about it . iam waiting to see how that **** rajdeep sardesai defends this24/7 coverage on his channel when some viewer lamblasts him .
