Fontaine
thats true but dilshan knows only one way to play and hence the pressure will be off jaya . Bring it on, that's all I can say. It is going to be a tough tour as the Lankans will be right at home but suffice to say I'm far more worried about our back up bowlers. It's in the middle overs that we get hammered for runs. cowboysfan
i think we pick jadeja for our 1st game and no specialist spinner-should be very interesting. Link to comment
Predator_05
ODI cricket in Lanka is all about the tosses, especially in the day-nighters. Whichever captain wins the most tosses will win the series. Link to comment
Predator_05
Some stats related to what i said earlier: IND and SL have played 11 matches in SL since '04. 8 of these 11 matches were won by the team which won the toss. It's also worth mentioning that 2 of those 3 losses came about due to India having a weak bowling attack which couldn't utilize the helpful conditions under lights. In both those losses, India had taken 6 wickets for under 150 (defending low 200 run totals) but lost because they couldn't dismiss the tail. So it's more like 10 out of 11 than 8, but you get the point Link to comment

Fontaine
nope-they are going to blast away from the start with dilshan and jaya opening. The last time Sri Lanka (including Jaya) faced Zaheer in ODIs they certainly didn't over the course of the entire series. Hey cowboysfan, "I love me some me!" :two_thumbs_up: Link to comment
