sangrock Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Who do you think is the best IPL pick for each international country (except India)? The judgment should be based on price and predicted performance. I think - NZ - Dan Vettori ($625k - Delhi) Australia - McGrath ($350k - Delhi)/Shane Warne($450K) - retired Shane Watson/Nathan Bracken SL - Dilhan($250K - Delhi) WI - Dwayne Bravo (Mumbai - Free Agent) SA - Shaun Pollock ($300K) AB deVillers ($175K) England - KP - He's a winner!!

Let me guess, you are from Delhi? NZ = Oram Aus = Warne. (Mcgrath, ponting, hayden, gilly, hussey etc dont even come close.) SL = Jayasuriya. How does Dilshan even come into the picture??? WI = Bravo SA = Greame Smith England = Flintoff.... Pak = Asif:hysterical::hysterical:
graphic23 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 NZ - Vettori Aus - Warne SL - Jayasuriya WI - Taylor in present form, I'd guess, considering how he has a hatrick too SA - Duminy or Smith England - Flintoff Pak - Terrorists don't count India - Sachin [Notice to EMC: Move to IPL Forum please]

Pak = Asif:hysterical::hysterical: I'm from delhi but I'm supporting CSK - so that's nullified. I think this year Dilshan will be a dark horse who will perform - he is a very wise spinner and a very good batsman too. Warne is no doubt the best pick(overall too), and I included him too, but as u said, nobody else comes closer to him, so I chose McGrath from the rest pack.
Don Sharma Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Australia - Nathan Bracken England - Flintoff (Freddie edges out KP coz of his all round capabilities) NZ - Jesse Ryder SA - JP Duminy (I heard Smith will miss this season coz of the long overdue elbow operation) WZ - Gayle (He missed last season, but I guess he will set the League on fire in the first 3 weeks) SL - Sanga (Dilshan will find it difficult to break into Delhi team, but Sanga will coz of that Moody guy)
Shane Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 SA - A Morkel WI - Gayle SL - Mendis Oz - Bracken Eng - KP NZ - Oram
SachDan Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 SA - A.Morkel Aus - Warne Eng - Flintoff WI - Bravo NZ - Vettori SL - Jayasurya Bangladesh - Ashraful
