Re: Puke your anger here? If he went by recent stats/form, he wouldnt have brought back Gangs or Kumble. Among the recent ones we have had, he is the best selector, by a mile. Also the guy sounds very honest & down to earth in his interviews.

Are u serious Gats ? U think Raina or a Kaif would have pulled what SRT & Gangs could not ? U shud be kidding me.
it is subjective.... could they have stopped 25-30 extra runs in the field? yes... could they have scampered more singles? yes... in these pitches, do we really need players who can hit big and hard to score 350 or do we need fast fielders and quick runners to consistently get 240?? tht was the direction, our team was heading, except for a slight blip, wen dhoni, raina, gambhir and kaif lost form at the same time... yuvi was injured.... thts all colonel needed to act like he was shaking up the whole infrastructure and brought in senile men..... tht dumbazz actually selected Jaffer instead of Gambhir and broke his confidence... wen a team is rebuilding like we were, there were bound to be hiccups like in the champions trophy..... short-sighted people like in the other forum wanted immediate results and patches.... the result is there for everyone to see... it blew up in our face on the main stage... if we had persisted with the young guns, things could have settled back...

Re: Puke your anger here?

It was a good ball upfront, there was just too much gap between bat and pad
the bugger wouldnt learn.... he lost his wicket against bangladesh cos the inside edge traveled between bat and pad.... again he does the same thing...

no' date=' cuz we r cricketing spectators . u know, cricket is a gentleman's game in many countries :p[/quote'] No, you guys never expected your team to show a miracle, and you very well know that you guys will be out in no time Its all relativity, if your cricketers keep giving you hope and fail, you will be disappointed too. You guys are still new, so there is no reason to pelt stones now..wait till you guys are in the big league after few years

We should give up playing cricket... and all sport. We are useless at the one sport we play in cricket and even then we cant get a decent team. We need to quit playing cricket and all sports to save us from these constant humiliations. We should stick to what we are good at which is sitting around having cups of tea talking rubbish.

good point, but still we like to see our fans years after to stand behind our cricketers. they may give us pain but they will also give us the moments of glory and no point to make them worry for their families left behind in the country for the sake of sports.

Just as well ... ... first of all ... let me say that anyone who disparages Rahul Dravid should be taken out back and shot. And second: we all knew this was coming ... just not this soon. Think about it: we have a stellar batting line-up but with the exception of Dravid, perform poorly when we're in a 'finals' sitation--be it the World Cup final or the final match of a 1st round game meaningful enough to decide whether or not we even stay in the tournament. How far did you actually think they were gonna take us? Maybe if the planets aligned perfectly, all the way -- but deep down you knew it was a long shot. Our bowlers are average: Bhajji simply has not been taking wickets for a long time, Munaf is good but he's no Shaun Pollock or Glenn McGrath, Irfan -- ENOUGH SAID (!), and the rest are mediocre. We simply don't have that Murali or Wasim or McGrath that just get out there and destroy people by taking wickets and breaking partnerships when they need to be broken. Our fielding is quite possibly the worst of the established cricketing nations. Did you seriously think we were gonna be World Champions? I was hoping we'd at least show some fight. That's all I wanted to say. ... ... ... Bermuda ... send us a miracle.
