Rajan
Thanks Shwetabh, Rajiv & Donny. i had been writing 'big-big' posts for the last 1 year and 1 huge OP on paki match fixing, but was able to make only 90k in my ICF life time. 1 correct answer to Donny and i have $500k! thanks Shwetabh, i love ICF Currency! I always looked at those millionaires with envy, now at least I can relax! Thanks Again! Link to comment

nikred
Gilly never bowled in a Test but did bowl 2 overs in a domestic one dayer. My specific answer was: They are all mentioned as 'right-arm offbreak' in their Cricinfo profiles, under 'bowling style'. Well done, Raj. As I said, "A nice easy one". alrighty.:nice: Link to comment
swami1984
Because I saw your answers as attempts at humour. Apologies, if you were serious. None of the players in team in #1 have played for New Zealand, Bangladesh or Zimbabwe, either. None in team #2 have played for Sth. Africa, Bangladesh or Zimbabwe. JP Duminy played for SA in Team #2....Hadlee played for NZ...Flower for Zimbabwe...but I get your point...good puzzles BTW Link to comment
swami1984
On the right track. Does it have something to do with either scoring a 100 or taking a five-for in an innings for their Australian domestic side? Link to comment

Donny
That's a good attempt but Queensland didn't win it's first Sheffield Shield till the '94/'95 season. Wes Hall was nearly 60 by then. Link to comment

Rajan
No. Donny, i spent very valuable hour for #3. ok, the biowlers listed have all taken 5 wickets in an innngs in Shield matches. the batsmen & keeper have scored hundreds in shield matches. Botham has scored 7 fifties, picked up 4 wickets as best, 18 catches, 4 in a match,, among highest in a season.Man of the match stuff is nt it? (Lehmann, B.Richards,Bradman, GS Chappell,Hussey have topped 1000 run charts for series too, add simpson for double centuries) Link to comment
Donny
Not to do with MoM awards. They are only a fairly recent thing. Not to do with their performances at all. Link to comment
Rajan
You need to specify criteria- there amybe more than one common theme but it does not have to be the one you have in mind unless you specify some criteria otherwise this is as bogus as Australia's win over India in Sydney the batsmen have opened for their team in one innings at least, while the bowlers have opened bowling in one innings at least? Donny
How many Wisden CoY awards have there been ? Hundreds, right ? It would hardly be noteworthy to pick out 12 for this team. There certainly aren't hundreds who've done what these players have. Link to comment
Rajan
they represented their respective countries, state teams, over seas county teams/sheffield teams- 4 teams? Link to comment
