Parth Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I was trying to change the theme of my computer, but didnt like it so i tried to go back to the original vista theme, but i couldnt find it in the theme and there's only the classic theme. can someone please tell me where to find the normal vista theme
ludhianvi Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Parth, try using the browsing to the following location and see if you find the .theme files C:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder. I dont have vista so cant verify but give the above a try. If you dont see any Theme files , then you can try restoring your computer to an earlier date :stewie:
Parth Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 Ok i did what you said and the vista theme is now in the themes, i select it and it says: what should i do
ludhianvi Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Either your theme files got corrupted or themes is disabled. I dont have Vista, so dont know much about the system. Google the error you get. When in doubt, Google . I found this for enabling the theme service: "Go into taskmanager then services. Look for one named Themes, if its deactivated, activate it. That was my problem and i think i got the same error." http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vista-7/650892-solved-vista-aero-theme-not.html
