Re: How's it going for everyone? It hurts but not as much as WC03 because this time it was expected. Although, I predicted that we will not make to the semis (will dig out the message sometime) I expected us to get to the Super 8s - despite guruji and all his efforts. Unfortunately, he was very successful in getting India dumped. Anyways, I am not interested in WC anymore and will NOT be watching any games. I just don't care except hope that the convicts do not win. I will be going away for couple of weeks now - probably to get some sun as it is cr@p here in UK (today it is good).

Re: How's it going for everyone? Re: OP... If Sachin & Rahul deserved to win a medal, it was in their own hands to win one. I feel sympathy for no Indian cricketer. I'm not angry either. I was angry when we collapsed v B'Desh, and then realised it was over. By the time we lost to Lanka, it was just sadness... I feel nothing now, other than stupid for believing this team had enough quality to reach the semis. I would never have thought we wouldn't even reach the super 8s, that thought never crossed my mind for a second, so the next time people attack me for being negative, remember that this team was more pathetic than even I imagined they could have been, and that's why the disappointment hit me more than usual at the time. Now, it doesn't bother me, my interest in cricket is over until these guys take the field again (either Test or ODI), and I can look forward to what shame they'll bring to our nation this time, or maybe they'll grow some balls and prove me wrong...
