I thought there is someone or the other who takes turn in ensuring that it is kepy open till the openers walk out. Why suddenly it started getting closed when there was still 10 - 15 min to go before the match?

It is stated very clearly on the SS page what times the matches officially start. Opening Time: SS is open when there aren't any matches on. It should open within 10 minutes of a match getting over.

Tapioca Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 I did not make any changes over the last three games and have actually increased the lead from Shane and Dinakkar. Maybe with 20 per substitution, it may not be the best idea to pick 8 players for every game. This may be a tactic worth trying : Pick two players from each team. YKP and Jadeja; Yuvraj and Jayawardene; Hayden and Raina, for eg. Never change them, unless they are injured or someone else is consistently doing better than them. Not changing the teams mean that you'll automatically have an advantage of 120-160 points over those who change teams every game. And if you are careful to pick the guys who are likely to make big scores (like YKP), the 120+ advantage will cover the few occasions when someone else scores heavily.

Yes this is true to a large extent; even though my rank has gotten worse since 20 points were implemented I was always in favor of it because it makes the competition more interesting & some thought is needed instead of simply being able to be in front of the laptop every time a match has to start.

ViruRulez Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 ended at 31 after the match today.. it was mainly because all my 8 players were already substituted and I did not need to spend spend substitution points.. will have to make a lot of substitutions tomorrow and lose substitution points.. hope that I remain at 31 or improve tomorrow
Rajan Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I have Brad Hodge in my team, KKR dropped him! I also sacrificed a RCB player and picked Morne Van Wyk for KKR, their highest scorer in an innings, they dropped him too! I lost 160 points in getting 8 players from RCB and KKR.Hope i get value for money!

I made only 1 substitution for KKR because everytime I had made 4 substitution for them I go in losses.. all my substitutions included in KKR do not make 80 points in most matches and so I have got only 1 substitution today .. for BRC too I have made only 2 substitution .. I dont trust both these teams much

You picked Ross Taylor today, wow!!!! but Ross Taylor was not picked by anyone near my rank .. its a big relief .. otherwise I would have lost a few ranks for sure after reaching 30 only since yesterday Right now at 30 and yet to do all 4 substitution for KXIP although 4 already ready for MI .. hope that I do not lose rank but move a few ranks ahead instead
