With hundreds of thousands of Shahabuddin's supporters waiting to get a glimpse of Shahabuddin's wife; Heena Shahab was proudly paraded by Yadav who said her husband was innocent and was a victim of a very high-profile political conspiracy. Shahabuddin, who is serving life term in Siwan jail in connection with crime of all flavors including murder, kidnapping, robbery, just to name a few, cannot contest elections because of his convictions in a number of cases. While Heena Shahab refrained from making any statement, Yadav, acting as the mouthpiece of both Heena and Shahabuddin, said the jailed MP was like his younger brother and he felt it was his duty towards his 'brother's' wife to offer moral and political support to her. "The state government has harassed and tortured Shahabuddin and his family members and the people of Siwan would soon get their chance to show their displeasure against the ruling government," Yadav said while asking the crowd to vote for Heena Shahab in the coming Parliamentary polls. Party leader Ram Kripal Yadav was also with Yadav at Siwan.

It is odd to see how he gets his support. Heck even you have supported him at various times, even when I have cried hoarse as to how he has screwed Bihar.
