Indian media is up in arms against this sting by British tabloid saying it makes mockery fo the poverty of slum dwellers. I am not convinced because for one thing that father is not poor anymore if news clip is to be belived DanY boyle took care of the education and upbringin of those kids. So that poverty alibi doesn't stick. Even if you are poor go sell yourself what right any father has to sell his daughters. Unfortunately this routinely happens. Instead of castigating that father attention looks like is centred more on tabloid . Let us not even get started about that harem owners from arba world they are doing what they thick religious tenet allows them and I am sure they will remain sick for eons to come nothing better is expected from them.

Here we are debating how our muslim brothers send their daughters off to arab's harem without batting an eyelid and somehow poverty is thrown as alibi.

There is no guarantee that the government will take any better care of the child. I also recall the story where one of the kids from the same movie was beaten up badly by his father because he said he was too tired to pose for the media. BTW VR, how can you have an opinion on a movie that you have not even seen?

No sting operation happened. Some idiot cooked up the story after getting drunk on cheap beer.

Just because you are a hypocrite does not mean you should be allowed to go scotfree for spewing nonsense. a) You had issues with Western media depiction of Slumdog Millionaire even though you did not see it. b) You have no issue with the same media now when it suits your angle. So yes you are a hypocrite and need to be told so. Mind you I am not even using the word "expose" since I doubt anyone here is not aware of the fact.
