Desi Cartman Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Couple of years ago when I was in delhi near the airport, I got stuck in a traffic jam there were cars for kms then I saw cops , armymen , traffic police on both sides of the road. I wondered what has happened which has brought delhi's traffic to standstill. I gathered some courage and asked a cop "Bhai kya ho raha hai " (brother whats happening) his reply "Khidki band kar .. saab a rahey hai" (shut the window Sir is coming). Well 20 mins laters cops came signaling something weird , I didnt get it so I asked another cop and he said "LIGHT BAND KAR" (turn off the lights). I was getting angry with all this wait and behavior of the cops.. then I saw at least 30 cars pass by at more than 100km/ph ... then the cops just started moving , lighting cigarettes , scratching balls & drinking water . So I looked at a cop and he said "PM saab gaye aap jao" I was happy for few seconds to hear that we could go now but then realized that there are thousands of cars and there is not even a single cop trying to manage traffic .. I was lucky that we had a driver that day . a short trip from Janakpuri to Saket which should take around 40-45 mins took more than 3 hrs for us that day. The PM was in such a hurry that whole delhi waited for him.. he didnt have a min to spare .. now today I log on to NDTV and I see Its election day !
veeru_rocks Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Chalo khush ho lo ak din ke liye.. bahut saari shikayat hai mujhe YE sala acres of acres prime land for the accomodation of politician judges top bureacrats.. IN saale rulign class ko sharm tak nahin aati.. Kahaan leke jaa sakate ho fariyaad.. ye haraami judge logon ka ghar bhi equally grand hota hai spread in multiple acres in middel of delhi.. Bas yun kaho ki angrej chale gaye angrejiyat na gai....
