It proves that you need more than dirty money from screaming monkeys to build a truly competitive sports team. What Warne has done with Rajasthan shows what talent and hardwork can achieve. They are the anti- Korrupt Knackered Rats. Good post.. ritwik Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 KKR sucks because it is one team where players such as Murtaza are bought in at a huge premum [$600,000!] not because of talent but because they might help the team to expand into the Bangladeshi market. What's more, he is not given a single game! It is not as if there was a lack of options - Taylor, Edwards and other pacers were available at the same auction. If the owners are so transparently chasing profit [at the cost of victory] then they can have no moral authority to attack the players/coaching staff when things go wrong on the field.
