ViruRulez Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I just saw a news channel and it was mentioned that Nitish Kumar is decided on whether to continue his alliance with BJP in the state and centre. Nitish Kumar is supposed to be fearing of losing next elections due to its relations and coalition with BJP. Sharad Yadav gave an interview to Zee News that Varun Gandhi and Narendra Modi were partly responsible for the loss of NDA. So, Nitish Kumar wants to go away from the BJP according to the news channel. It is said that Nitish is confident of winning elections even if he leaves BJP as coalition partner. He has done developemental work in Bihar which has worked in his favour in this Lok Sabha elections and he believes will also help him get majority in Assembly elections. If this news is true, Nitish Kumar might also leave NDA and fight alone like Biju Patnaik who swept elections without any support. If that situation arrives, NDA will be in further trouble as Nitish Kumar is the second biggest party in NDA after BJP. Meanwhile Laloo Yadav and Amar Singh might not be included in the govt. by UPA according to the news channels as they had opposed Congress during the election campaign. So, I also suspect that Nitish Kumar might be planning to join UPA if Laloo is not there in UPA anymore. I dont know if news channels are making more masala out of it or is he actually planning to quit NDA.
ViruRulez Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Just saw that Ajit Singh of RLD is also planning to leave NDA and join UPA. He is supposed to have asked for appointment with Sonia Gandhi.
