Nadal to set up tennis school in India

Dubai, 5 June (AKI) - Tennis world number one, the Spaniard Rafael Nadal plans to set up a tennis school in India, according to Indian media reports. "There have been 135 registrations so far for admission to the academy, which will be restricted to children above eight years," said Moncho Ferrer, associate programme director of the non-governmental organisation Rural Development Trust, quoted by Indian daily, The Hindu. The school, due to open in June 2010 is reported to be a joint venture between the Rafael Nadal Foundation and Fundacion Vicente Ferrer, the Spanish arm of the RDT. According to the daily, the school will be set up in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh in the country's east. :hatsoff::hatsoff::bow::two_thumbs_up: Its not without reason i cheer nadal over federer.
