Btw Hyderabadis don't even speak proper hindi forget urdu hehhehe Those are all fake hyderabadis who come from smaller towns and claim to be hyderabadis. 40% of hyderabadis are muslims so thats a lot of urdu speakers and then there are old timers like my grand father who speak and write perfect urdu, in that sense sure its decreasing but surely not dying as long as the muslims are there. umpire Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 I went to Hyderabad several times, my in laws live there. I spoke to many muslims and many of htem speak special hyderabadi hindi. They do use quite a few urdu words. But it was no way sophisticated URDU Link to comment
